We started Hilux Poly because we were buyers before we were a supplier.
Founded in 2020 in Derby, UK, and backed by 35 years in the plastics industry, we saw the same problem from the other side of the order: rolls labelled one weight, delivering another. So every roll we sell is checked against the length and weight printed on the box before it ships. It’s the same standard we wanted when we were the ones buying.

We check every roll, so we can stand behind the numbers
We supply direct, with no middleman between you and the film. Every roll is checked before it ships, which is what lets us put a real, measured figure on every box instead of a printed estimate.
We publish real numbers
Every roll’s length and weight is checked before despatch. A Hilux Poly 23µ roll weighs 2.43kg. A typical market roll of the same advertised spec weighs closer to 1.20kg.
We hold UK stock
Everything ships from our own stock in Derby, dispatched the same working day before 2pm, free to mainland GB. Nothing is drop-shipped or made to order.

How we check every roll
Before any roll leaves our site, its length and weight are checked against what’s printed on the box, not just assumed from the spec sheet. If a competitor’s roll at the same advertised specification weighs noticeably less, you’re paying full price for film you’re not getting.
