Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply when you order stretch film from Hilux Poly, online or by trade quote.
1. About us
Hilux Poly is the trading name of Iftikhar Plastic & Company UK Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under Company No. 13075442, VAT number GB 372 3433 08. Our registered office and warehouse is Unit 11 Wetherby Business Park, Wetherby Road, Osmaston Industrial Estate, Derby DE24 8HL.
2. Definitions
“We”, “us” and “our” mean Hilux Poly. “You” and “your” mean the person or business placing an order or using this website. “Goods” means the stretch film and related products we sell. “Contract” means the agreement formed between us for the sale of Goods when we accept your order.
3. Placing an order
An order placed through this website, by phone, email or WhatsApp is an offer to buy, which we accept when we confirm it, usually by email or, for online orders, at checkout. We may decline an order, for example if a product is out of stock, if we suspect fraud, or if there’s a pricing or listing error. If we can’t fulfil your order after taking payment, we’ll refund you in full.
4. Prices & VAT
Prices shown on individual product pages include VAT at the applicable UK rate. Trade and bulk quotes are typically given ex-VAT, with VAT added when the order is confirmed. All prices are in GBP. We try to ensure prices are correct, but if we discover a genuine pricing error after you’ve ordered, we’ll contact you before proceeding.
5. Payment
Payment is taken at checkout via our payment provider, or by agreed terms for trade accounts. We don’t store your full card details, these are handled directly by our payment processor.
6. Delivery
Delivery timeframes, coverage and surcharges are set out in full in our Delivery & Return Policy, which forms part of these terms. In summary: free delivery to Mainland GB, dispatched the same working day for orders placed before 2pm.
7. Your right to cancel
If you’re a consumer buying online, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 give you a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason. To cancel, contact us at sales@Hiluxpoly.co.uk. You’ll need to return the goods at your own cost, unused and in their original packaging, and we’ll refund you within 14 days of receiving them back.
We go further than the law requires: our own returns policy gives you 30 days, not 14, to change your mind on unused, unopened rolls.
This cancellation right doesn’t apply to rolls that have been opened, unwrapped or used, as these can’t be resold.
8. Faulty or damaged goods
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If goods are faulty, not as described, or damaged in transit, you’re entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. In practice: tell us within 48 hours of delivery (see our Delivery & Return Policy) and we’ll sort a free replacement or refund, we won’t ask you to return damaged goods.
9. Title & risk
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Ownership (title) passes once we’ve received payment in full.
10. Our liability
We’re responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by us breaking these terms or acting negligently, up to the value of your order. We don’t exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t legally be limited. We’re not liable for losses that aren’t a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms, or for business losses if you’re buying as a consumer.
11. Trade & bulk orders
Pallet quantities, standing orders and trade account pricing are agreed individually, see our Wholesale & bulk page. Where agreed trade terms differ from this document (for example on payment terms or minimum order quantities), the agreed trade terms take priority for that order.
12. Intellectual property
The content of this website, text, images, logos and design, belongs to Hilux Poly or our licensors. You may view and print pages for your own use; you may not copy, reproduce or reuse content commercially without our permission.
13. Using this website
You agree to use this site lawfully and not to attempt to disrupt it, access it via unauthorised means, or use it to transmit anything harmful. We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe these terms are being breached.
14. Complaints
If something’s gone wrong, contact us first at sales@Hiluxpoly.co.uk, most things can be sorted directly and quickly. If you remain unhappy, you can contact Citizens Advice or use the EU’s Online Dispute Resolution platform where applicable to your location.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of England and Wales, though if you’re a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may also be able to bring proceedings in your local courts.
