This tool needs JavaScript to calculate your figures. In the meantime, here is the fact it is built on: a genuine 23 micron, 400mm x 250m roll should weigh about 2.43kg (we publish this on every product page and check it before dispatch). A genuine 17 micron roll of the same size weighs about 1.87kg. If your current roll weighs noticeably less than the figure for its stated thickness, it is likely running light.
