Choosing film for the way you work
The six pages above go through each type of operation in detail. The short version: warehouses and fulfilment centres that wrap all day usually do best with a standard core roll on a dispenser, while removals firms, vans and second sites tend to prefer extended core rolls with handles, because there’s nothing extra to carry.
Thickness depends on the load. 17 micron suits light, even boxes. 23 micron handles heavier, uneven or sharp-edged pallets and long journeys. Clear film lets you scan labels through the wrap, and black hides the contents.
Pallet stretch wrap, also sold as shrink wrap, grips the load as you wrap it. Every roll we supply is 400mm x 250m, comes six to a box, contains at least 30% recycled plastic, and has its real weight published so you can check it.
